Young Leaders

Our Young Leaders (14yrs - 17yrs) help in each of the different sections. They are key members of the leadership team who in partnership with the adult leaders assist in the planning and delivery of a fun and engaging programme of activities. Additionally if they choose, they are also part of the District Explorer Scouts Section.

"I have been part of the Scouting Association since I joined Beavers at 5 years old. I gained confidence, independence and responsibility as a Scout and being a Young Leader gives me the opportunity to give this back to future Scouts. Initially, I started volunteering as part of my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award but I loved it so much I decided to carry on."
